6 pairs of sunglasses to treat yourself to this summer

As the sun slowly peeks out, sunglasses are the ultimate summer accessory. Miu Miu, Ahlem, Peter and May… Here’s a closer look at six pairs of sunglasses you’ll want to treat yourself to this summer.

Rose-tinted glasses from Miu Miu

The most popular brand in the first quarter of 2024 on the Lyst search engine, Miu Miu has continued to make its mark on the fashion scene in recent months. So if you want to be at the top of the trend this summer, we’re turning to a pair from Prada’s little sister. This square model with pink lenses is adorned with an acetate and metal frame with a vertical Miu Miu logo on the temples. A pretty, colourful pair, perfect for summer.

Jarvis. That’s the name of this pair of sunglasses. With its aviator style, the piece combines a Japanese titanium frame with 22 yellow gold plating and a white frame surrounding the grey lenses. Modern and sophisticated, this model is sure to appeal to lovers of large, adventurous sunglasses.

Architectural eyewear from Ahlem x Gauchère

The result of a collaboration between eyewear brand Ahlem and fashion house Gauchère, this model celebrates understated luxury. The lines are sculptural and rather avant-garde, with a frame that is both rounded and graphic. This pair is made from plant-based Italian acetate and comes with thick temples. The detail that changes everything? The little hole in the middle of the frame, on the bridge, which refocuses the gaze like a third eye. We chose the transparent beige colour for this limited edition of 100, which was presented at the Gauchère Spring-Summer 2024 show.

Chimi’s thin rectangular glasses

A major fashion trend, driven in particular by Bella Hadid’s vintage style, slim rectangular frames placed on the tip of the nose give a sharp look. Chimi’s acetate pair, made from 42% organic plastic and 28% certified recycled plastic, is as simple as it is modern.

Army glasses from Peter and May

With its almond-shaped lenses, this pair of smoked glasses from Peter and May is feminine and timeless. What do we love about them? The olive-green tint, which veers towards brown and adds subtle colour to neutral looks.

Oval and oversized sunglasses by Gucci

These sunglasses are an ode to vintage. XXL lenses, round lines, wavy temples, tortoiseshell colour… Lady Gaga could easily have worn this pair in the film House of Gucci. A design that won’t appeal to everyone, but which has the merit of adding real value to the face.
