The Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa offers a magical parenthesis in time
The year 2021 marks the bicentenary of Napoleon’s death and for this occasion the House of Chaumet, official jeweller to the couple Josephine and Napoleon, and the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa have joined forces to offer an exceptional experience. For the duration of a trip, you will be able to go back in time by meeting at 12 Place Vendôme.
Until 18 July 2021, the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa offers all visitors staying in the Josephine or Marie-Louise suites a private tour of the exhibition Josephine and Napoleon, an (extra)ordinary story. An exceptional way to escape for a while.
This exhibition looks back at the highlights of the life of the Emperor and Empress Josephine, of which the founder of the House was the privileged witness. This event reveals 150 works of art, jewels and outfits exclusively to visitors. This exhibition will take place in the private salons of the House’s historic address, the Chaumet mansion in the heart of the Parisian capital.
Why this association between the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa and the House of Chaumet ? Quite simply because this hotel pays tribute to the Emperor Napoleon through the design and decor of the place. In addition, the Royal Champagne Hotel has a former 19th century coaching inn where the kings of France traditionally stopped and where Napoleon stayed on several occasions on his return from the battlefield. The association came about very naturally.
The current prestige of the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa
Set in the heart of the countryside and overlooking the vineyards of the Champagne region, the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa also offers an extraordinary living environment and Michelin-starred gourmet cuisine. The hotel also features a 1500 m² spa created in partnership with Biologique Recherche and KOS. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind in an intimate setting.
In 2020, the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa was voted best hotel in Europe by Conde Nast Traveler. The hotel is also competing for the same award, but this time for the year 2021.
In an exclusive interview with Forbes, Vincent Parinaud, the hotel’s general manager, said that the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa is “like champagne itself : we are sparkling, festive and modern. That’s what we wanted to achieve. “
So, there is only one thing left to do, make a reservation so that you don’t miss out on this unique and exclusive interlude.
