Delight your taste buds at Le Rubis restaurant
Located in the second arrondissement of Paris, a few steps from the Place de la Victoire and the Place de la Bourse, the restaurant Le Rubis is a real hidden gem of Parisian gastronomy.
The restaurant immediately stands out from the dominant architecture of its street. With its black front, it may seem austere, but this is only an impression. The restaurant’s terrace alone invites you to relax and stroll around. A few chairs and a few tables guarantee proximity but also a certain intimacy, and avoid being disturbed by the incessant passage of walkers and cars : the ideal place to laze around and chat over a drink.
The interior, consisting of a main room, has a décor straight out of the imagination of the architect Marie Carmarans Giulia. An almost perfect and pleasant harmony has been found between the black colour, the shiny tiles, the rough wooden chairs and tables which give a traditional touch and finally the vintage looking hanging lamps, essential components of the identity of the place.
The Rubis is an establishment that fashion and design people like to find, and where everyone can feel at ease, and Bastien Gabrié, the director, pays particular attention to this. The menu helps a lot. Despite the short list of dishes, its inventiveness is noteworthy. In the kitchen, Italian chef Tommaso Brandini, originally from the city of Florence, makes a point of finding the right balance between the flavours of his native Tuscany and those of Paris, his adopted city. The dishes that Le Rubis offers are thus elegant adaptations of Italian taste to the French palate. For starters, the carpaccio of sea bass with radishes will make you happy. As for the main courses, the chef proposes grilled octopus with pommes grenailles, a delight for the taste buds. And what better way to finish than with a plum panacotta for dessert? The restaurant also offers a wide selection of natural and organic wines to accompany this good meal.
The restaurant Le Rubis awaits you at 14 rue Léopold-Bellan, in the second arrondissement of Paris. To make a reservation: 09.84.39.42.49.
