Fashion special: The most incredible boutiques in Paris in your next issue!
In your next Spring-Summer 2022 issue, which will be released on July 4th on the occasion of Paris Fashion Week, find the 30-page Fashion Special Report on the most incredible boutiques in Paris.
Since the beginning of the year 2022, France and especially Paris have been experiencing an impressive wave of luxury boutique openings that are among the most sought after by foreigners along with high-end hotels.
You will discover the latest trends in architecture and interior design. Trends explained by architect Chafik Gasmi, founder of Chafik Studio, in his interview. Through his expert eye, he tells us more about the new requirements of houses in relation to our new practices.
According to him, the next twenty years will see the arrival in force of hybrid boutique spaces. These stores will no longer be limited to a single function, but will be able to combine a shopping area with a hotel, restaurant or museum. A former artistic director of Sephora, he left LVMH and founded his studio to put the ecological dimension, one of his first imperatives, at the service of major luxury architectural projects. By introducing these new constraints linked to eco-design, the environmental issue is also shifting the aesthetic standards of tomorrow’s boutiques.
Focus on the most exceptional boutiques
Also in this issue: our selection of the most exceptional boutiques in the City of Light.
Among them, the Dior boutique on Avenue Montaigne. In the very famous Avenue Montaigne hides the historic address of the house of Dior. Just reopened after more than two years of renovation, this temple of luxury houses an art gallery, a restaurant, a boutique and a hotel for VIPs.
Designed by architect Peter Marino, this unique boutique is housed in the former Christian Dior workshops dating from 1946. In the 10,000 sq.m space, you will discover a sublime hybrid space with thousands of colors combining modern, chic and vintage.
Not far from there, at 18 Place Vendôme, the journey continues with a visit to Chanel’s Haute-Joaillerie flagship. With a surface area of 1,000 square meters, this boutique-museum-gallery has also been redesigned by Peter Marino.
In beige, white and black, this exceptional address, filled with unique pieces of jewelry and watches, pays tribute to the founder of the house, Coco Chanel. Every detail, from the furniture to the artworks on display, has been thought out to the millimeter to best reflect the Parisian art of living and the personality of the most famous designer in fashion history.
From the technicolor Lacoste experience on the Champs-Élysées to the historic Lancel flagship, via the three Officine Générale boutiques on rue du Dragon, Dossier Mode has left nothing to chance and offers you a guided tour of Paris and its most iconic shopping addresses.
