Forza Horizon 5 : the most beautiful models of luxury vehicles
With the release of Forza Horizon this November 9 on Xbox One, let’s take a look at the most gorgeous luxury vehicles planned for the fifth edition of the game that has been synonymous with triumph for almost ten years now.
Arriving rather late in the midst of racing video game behemoths such as Need For Speed, Burnout or Gran Turismo, Forza Horizon has managed to make a place for itself in this universe full of pile-ups. And while luxury brands have traditionally made their presence felt in games of this kind, the vehicles are not lacking in eye candy, and Forza Horizon 5 is no exception to the rule. With no less than 750 models of cars in the game (including the famous DLC) announced so far, here is a selection of some of the most beautiful models that make their return in the game.
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
No less than one of the fastest cars in Forza Horizon, this car was first presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. This model, worth 2.2 million dollars, represents a pure rarity since it was produced in only 20 copies, making it one of the most exclusive Lamborghini of all time.
Aston Martin Vulcan F.E.
This hypercar is full of history since its name is directly inspired by the British bombers of the Cold War: Avro Vulcan. It also refers to Vulcan, the god of fire in Roman mythology. Capable of reaching over 160 km/h in less than six seconds, it is faster than other production Aston Martins.
McLaren 720S Coupe
The 720S enters the box of McLaren’s second generation Super Series, replacing the 650S Coupe for 2018. Lighter than those predecessors, this true road missile displays relentless efficiency but also unmatched elegance.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Porsche’s models are no longer in need of introduction as they remain incredible, both aesthetically and athletically. The 911 is no exception : in 2018, it successfully finished the Nürburgring-Nordschleife during the German Grand Prix by completing its lap in less than 7 minutes, a remarkable performance.
Bugatti Chiron
Named after the Monegasque pilot Louis Chiron, this Bugatti achieved the feat of reaching 400 km/h in 32.6 seconds, after which it stopped 9.4 seconds later, setting a world record. Although the record has since been broken, it is still a leader in its class.
Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray
The 2020 Corvette Stingray Coupe marks the beginning of Chevrolet’s eighth generation. Unlike the brand’s previous models, it is based on a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive platform. This sports car will impress on the road with its extremely clean finishes.
Mercedes AMG-Project One Forza Edition
And finally, how can we not conclude with the star car of the game ? This hypercar is the result of the collaboration between Mercedes and Microsoft. We (re)discover it in the video presentation of the game, below :
