Printemps inaugurates its first virtual shop
On the occasion of the inauguration of its very first virtual shop in collaboration with Arianee, Printemps is also organising a draw to win works in NFT, by the artist Romain Froquet.
The Parisian department stores’ Le Printemps has entered the wonderful world of the web in the form of a virtual shop. To do so, the shop has collaborated with Arianee, a leader in integrated web3 solutions for brands, using blockchain technology. DressX, an NFT marketplace, is also on board to build a digital fashion wardrobe from the Printemps collections.
“Arianee is proud to be associated with Printemps, a player that is shaking up the codes of fashion and luxury. Through this operation, we are once again demonstrating that bridges between the physical, digital and virtual worlds allow us to offer an exceptional experience to committed customers” comments Pierre-Nicolas Hurstel, CEO of Arianee.
Since 21 March, the virtual experience has continued and the department stores’ has been offering its customers a weekly draw to win an NFT from among the 30 works of art on offer, containing an exclusive digital work of art, signed by Romain Froquet and created to mark the launch of its new virtual store. At the end of the six-week operation, a final winner will be drawn to win the artwork, in its physical form.
Each NFT contains a unique animated digital work of art, and can be accessed via a simple link in the email sent to lucky winners by Printemps. The Arianee wallet, or virtual wallet, gives the winners the possibility to store their NFT in a secure space designed for and by Printemps. The project was integrated by User Adgents.
“At Printemps, innovation has been at the heart of our DNA since our creation in 1865. As we unveil Printemps’ new identity to our customers, we want to offer them new experiences, memorable first times. The creation of NFT is part of this process of constant renewal. This partnership with Arianee, leader in web3 solutions, has allowed us to experiment with a new creative and innovative facet with Romain Froquet, a street-artist with a unique universe with whom we have already collaborated“, says Jean-Marc Bellaiche, President of the Printemps group.
