Historically, Thanksgiving is the harvest festival, a holiday during which people thanked God with prayers and rejoicing for the year’s blessings. This now secular celebration in North America has been a holiday in the United States since 1941, on the fourth Thursday in November. Thanksgiving is considered a traditional holiday, bringing families and friends together every year for a big dinner, with traditional dishes that cannot be missed. At Le Meurice’s Dalí restaurant, executive chef Amaury Bouhours unveils a traditional three-course menu with an inventive French twist, including dishes such as butternut squash velouté, Poularde de la ferme de Culoiseau and Cédric Grolet‘s unique version of Big Brest Pécan. (150 euros)

At Ralph’s, the restaurant of the American brand Ralph Lauren, Thanksgiving will be celebrated with a special menu. Guests will be treated to champagne or mulled cider to start, followed by butternut soup or Vermont herb salad, traditional roasted turkey with calvados sauce, pork sausage stuffing with chestnuts, rosemary and sage. For dessert, you can enjoy Ralph’s famous homemade apple pie. (155 euros)
At Sunday in Soho, the restaurant will be signing its 4th edition of the Thanksgiving holiday. The creators of the restaurant, Isabelle and Ali landed from New York and opened in 2018 next to the Exchange. On November 25, 26 and 27, they will offer as a holiday menu: roasted turkey roulade with butter and herbs, Mac & Cheese, sweet potato or green bean casserole and cornbread. For dessert, the choice will be pecan or pumpkin pie. (from 75 euros)
Finally, LE Drugstore, on the Champs-Elysées, is offering a Thanksgiving menu created by chef Eric Frechon. You can choose between a corn tempura, a pumpkin soup with chestnut chips and roasted hazelnuts or a roasted stuffed farm turkey with sweet potato purée, foie gras and roast juice. For dessert, you can try the traditional Pecan Pie or mignardises. (70 euros)
