The iconic three-masted Le Ponant, of the eponymous brand, offers intimate cruises where the art of navigation is highlighted. This exceptional yacht, the first to be awarded the Relais & Châteaux distinction, takes passengers from Cape Verde to the Caribbean via Croatia.
At 88 metres long and 12 metres wide, Le Ponant is an iconic yacht in the world tourist fleet. On board, the design is pure and elegant, in neutral shades with touches of blue. The interior architecture is by French studio Jean-Philippe Nuel, who has chosen top-of-the-range materials and luxury furnishings.
With Le Ponant, everything is done to give passengers a five-star experience. A spa, with a treatment cabin, stands alongside a seawater swimming pool. The two sports and yoga rooms are ideal for unwinding or soothing yourself to the rhythm of the waves. A library, tea room and bar also invite travellers to relax… but in a different way.
Breakfast, buffet lunch and gourmet dinner are served in the Le Diamant restaurant. The chef chooses local produce in keeping with the cruise destination to immerse guests in his world.
Le Ponant also provides kayaks, paddles, snorkelling, fishing and diving equipment during stopovers. Entertainment is also organised.
Only 16 cabins are available on the yacht to guarantee a small group trip for a maximum of 32 holidaymakers. These rooms are spread across the three decks and all offer uninterrupted sea views, some of which can be enjoyed from private balconies.
This comprehensive offer has earned Le Ponant the Relais & Châteaux label, a first in the institution’s history.
In 2024, the prestigious yacht will start in Cape Verde, followed by the Caribbean. She will then set sail for the Cyclades, in Greece, before heading for Croatia. At the end of the year, it will return to Cape Verde, before setting sail again on the world’s seas in 2025.
Other ships are being added to the Le Ponant catalogue. An opportunity to visit the globe in a new way, and on increasingly eco-responsible boats.
