We tested La Prairie’s “Caviar Illumination” skincare for you.
The editorial team has tested La Prairie’s new “Caviar Illumination” skincare product. We headed to Printemps Haussmann in Paris to discover this beauty ritual imagined by the luxury cosmetics house, which aims to brighten, smooth and firm the skin.
After descending to level -1 of the Printemps Haussmann beauty building, we are plunged into a veritable haven of peace dedicated to well-being. While a number of treatments are presented within the La Prairie space, with various benefits depending on needs, “Caviar Illumination” is, as its name suggests, an ode to light.
The unique combination of Swiss golden caviar and Lumidose
Peacefully installed on the comfortable massage table, the body disconnects and relaxes to welcome all the virtues of the products. Once the warm essential oil-scented towels have been applied to the face, the skin is gently cleansed and make-up removed. The White Caviar range is then applied.
A product composed of the Lumidose active ingredient, La Prairie’s iconic double-encapsulated illuminating molecule, which effectively diminishes brown spots. This ingredient is combined with Swiss Golden Caviar which, thanks to its antioxidant enzyme activators, fights oxidative stress and helps densify the dermal collagen network. A science of light inspired by the sparkling landscapes of Switzerland, the birthplace of the brand.
The treatment ends with a few minutes’ application of a cellular mask to complete this hour of plenitude. Like an elixir of youth, this last action helps to considerably firm tissues. The benefits of these luxury beauty products are exalted by the hands of the masseuses. At the end of the ritual, the skin is radiant, luminous and smooth.
La Prairie treatments are also available at the Palace Le Bristol, where the cosmetics house has a spa as sublime as it is renowned.
