Yannick Alléno reopens his restaurant “Père et fils” with a new decor
The talented chef Yannick Alléno reopens his restaurant “Père et fils” with a new menu in an “American style” decor.
Yannick Alléno reopens “Père & Fils, Burger” by Alléno in a new setting created for his “Hedonist Burgers” in the heart of Beaupassage, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Opened in 2021 with his son Antoine, who tragically passed away in September 2021, victim of a hit-and-run accident, the place reinvents itself by drawing inspiration from both American “Diners” and Parisian bistros. The restaurant has two large counters open to the kitchen allowing a glimpse of the preparation of burgers signed by the starred chef and his son.
On the first floor, large benches invite sharing and the large wall of the staircase is decorated with street-art style illustrations with a theme: the transmission between father and son and the flight towards freedom to create one’s own universe. On the first floor, the space has been designed as a modular loft that can be privatized for events.
The transmission so dear to Chef Yannick Alléno can also be found in the menu, which has been enhanced with new dishes. Chef de cuisine Anisa Usmanova, who will be working alongside Antoine Alléno when he opens in 2021, is offering two new creations: the Veal Neapolitan and the Nikita, with its Cheddar veil. The menu is also enriched with an alternative to burgers with generous fresh and creative salads such as the Tomato Confit salad.
On the dessert side, we enjoy crisp, icy novelties such as the Bomba with salted caramel and roasted hazelnuts or the “Paradise” frozen dessert, a revisited homemade sundae. A tribute to Antoine Alleno, who was broke at the height of his career.
