Art Basel: stars make private parties shine

The major contemporary art event, Art Basel in Miami, hosted some of the best parties for VIPs last weekend.
For the past 20 years, Art Basel has transformed Miami into an essential cultural destination for a few days. The city attracts the big names in luxury, who take advantage of the famous contemporary art fair to present arty capsule collections, launched with pop-ups and glamorous parties.
Last Thursday, while Saint Laurent inaugurated its sultry “SEX by Madonna” exhibition, Tiffany & Co. unveiled an ephemeral boutique celebrating Andy Warhol, in the heart of the Miami Design District. With neon lights, colours and a performer, the house played the big game and invited friends of the house such as Hailey Bieber, J Balvin, Pharrell Williams, Dixie D’Amelio, Lori Harvey and Izabel Goulart.

Miami proved to be a party queen with celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Cardi B, Fifty Cent and the Kardashian clan at the same VIP party, hosted by Wayne and Cynthia Boich on Friday night.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner enjoyed spritzes in the Sofia Design District courtyard, while Meredith Marks attended the VIP grand opening of the Fabel rooftop spot. Madonna graced the YSL exhibition of Steven Meisel‘s photographs from his 1992 cult book “Sex”.

Another memorable party was organized by Clarins & Each X Other, who joined forces this year to celebrate Miami Art Basel by combining Fashion and Beauty at the famous Casa Faena Hotel. For the occasion, the two Houses kicked off the art week with an exclusive and intimate dinner at Gitano, the Casa Faena restaurant. In attendance were actress Bella Thorne, celebrity stylist Elizabeth Sulcer and model Brooks Nader.
